The Turck BI5-G18-AN6X inductive proximity sensor detects metallic targets without contact, delivering a 5 mm sensing distance for compact, reliable position sensing in automation lines. It provides a 3-wire NPN normally open output, operates from 10–30 VDC, and can switch up to 200 mA, with a switching frequency up to 0.5 kHz, an integral 2 m cable, and a threaded M18 x 1 barrel. The chrome-plated brass housing is IP67-rated and designed for flush-mount installation in industrial environments, with an operating range from -25°C to +70°C and protections for reverse polarity and short circuits plus an LED switching indicator.
