Turck BI5-G18K-AP6X-H1141 is a compact inductive proximity sensor that detects metallic targets without contact, ideal for position sensing and object detection in conveyors, packaging machines, robotic assembly cells, material handling systems, and machine tools where space is limited thanks to its short M18 threaded barrel. It features a 5 mm sensing distance, a 3‑wire PNP normally open output, and a 10–30 V DC supply with up to 200 mA switching current and 0.5 kHz switching frequency. The sensor uses a chrome‑plated brass housing (M18 × 1 thread, flush-mount design) with an M12 × 1 male connector and PA12 active face, rated IP67 for industrial environments, and operates from −25 °C to +70 °C; it includes reverse polarity, short‑circuit, and wire‑break protection along with a yellow LED indicator to confirm switching state.
