Turck BI5-M18-AP6X-H1141 Inductive Proximity Sensor

The Turck BI5-M18-AP6X-H1141 is a compact inductive proximity sensor designed for non-contact detection of metallic targets in industrial automation. It uses an M18 × 1 threaded barrel and an M12 × 1 male connector to deliver a 5 mm sensing distance with a 3-wire PNP normally open output at 10–30 VDC and up to 200 mA, with a housing length of 52 mm. The chrome-plated brass housing (CuZn) and PA12-GF30 active face provide rugged performance for flush mounting in packaging equipment, conveyors, assembly cells, and machine tools, and it weighs about 49 g. Built-in protections include reverse polarity, short-circuit, and wire-break safeguards, and a yellow LED status indicator confirms switching, in an operating temperature range of −25 °C to +70 °C for industrial automation environments.
