Turck BI5-P18-AN6X-B2341 Inductive Proximity Sensor

Turck BI5-P18-AN6X-B2341 is an inductive proximity sensor for non-contact detection of metallic targets in industrial automation. It delivers a 5 mm sensing distance, a 3-Wire NPN normally open output, and operates on 10–30 VDC (max 30 VDC) with a 200 mA switching current and up to 0.5 kHz switching frequency. The B2341 variant adds a quick-disconnect connector for easier installation and maintenance; it uses a 7/8" male connection, with an M18×1 threaded barrel, chrome-plated brass housing, flush mounting, and IP67 protection. This sensor is used in packaging equipment, conveyors, robotic assembly cells, material handling systems, and machine tools where PLC-controlled processes require reliable object detection and position feedback. It operates from -25°C to +70°C and includes protections such as reverse polarity, cyclic short-circuit, wire-break protection, plus a yellow LED status indicator.
