Turck Bi5-Q08-AP6X-V2131 Inductive Proximity Sensor

The Turck BI5-Q08-AP6X-V2131 is a compact 32 × 20 × 8 mm rectangular inductive proximity sensor that detects metallic targets without contact in confined spaces. It provides a 3-Wire PNP normally open output, operates on 10–30 VDC, with a maximum switching current of 200 mA and switching frequency up to 1 kHz, and uses an M8 male connector (V2131) in a rectangular Q08 housing made from zinc die-cast with a PA12 active face (Identification Number 1600502). The sensor is IP67-rated, flush-mountable, and features reverse polarity protection and cyclic short-circuit protection, with a green LED for power indication and a yellow LED for switching indication. Commonly used in packaging equipment, conveyor systems, assembly fixtures, robotic work cells, and automated production lines for position sensing and non-contact metal object detection across industrial automation environments.
