Turck BIM-PST-AN6X KLP80 Position Sensor

The Turck BIM-PST-AN6X W/KLP80 is a compact magnetic-inductive cylinder position sensor designed for non-contact piston position sensing in round pneumatic cylinders used in industrial automation. It provides a 3-wire NPN normally open output powered from 10–30 VDC and up to 200 mA, with a switching frequency up to 1 kHz, and is mounted via the included KLP80 kit on cylinders from 25 to 80 mm in diameter—delivering wear-free operation and long service life. The sensor’s PA12-GF30 reinforced plastic housing measures 23 × 14 × 16 mm, rated IP67 for protection, and operates from −25 °C to +70 °C. It uses magnetic-inductive sensing to detect magnetic pistons and provides 2 m LifYY PVC cable connections. Its repeatability is ±0.1 mm with a hysteresis of ≤1 mm, and it tolerates shocks up to 30 g (11 ms) and vibration at 55 Hz with 1 mm amplitude. Common applications include packaging machines, conveyor diverters, assembly stations, palletizing equipment, and other automated handling systems requiring reliable cylinder position feedback for machine sequencing and process control; it is CE and RoHS compliant and part of Turck’s BIM-PST series.
