The TURCK BIM-UNT-AN6X magnetic field sensor provides non-contact pneumatic cylinder position sensing and actuator feedback in industrial automation. It uses magneto-resistive sensing for wear-free detection through aluminum cylinder walls, with an NPN normally open (NO), 3-wire output rated 10–30 VDC and up to 150 mA, switching up to 1 kHz. The compact 28 x 6 x 6 mm polypropylene housing mounts on T-slot cylinder hardware and is compatible with T-slot, dovetail, short-stroke, round, and tie-rod cylinders; it features one-hand mounting, reverse polarity protection, short-circuit protection, LED indication, IP68 protection, operating temperature -25°C to +70°C, a 2 m integral cable, repeatability ±0.1 mm, hysteresis ≤1 mm, and maximum piston speed 10 m/s.
