Turck CDN-IM-16-0053 DeviceNet Digital Input Module

The Turck CDN-IM-16-0053 DeviceNet Network Input Module (remote digital input module) is a 16-channel DeviceNet distributed I/O device that collects sixteen field-device signals and transmits them to PLCs and industrial controllers. Designed for machine-mounted, through-hole installation in harsh environments, it uses an IP67 die-cast aluminum housing with a black powder-coated finish and operates from -25°C to +70°C, and is commonly used in conveyors, packaging, automotive assembly, material handling, and factory automation lines requiring decentralized digital input monitoring. It provides 16 digital inputs (8 × 2) with PNP/NPN compatibility, supports 11–30 VDC sensing, and sources up to 80 mA per input at up to 100 Hz switching. Communication runs over DeviceNet at 125, 250, or 500 kbps via 5-pin Mini-Style (MiniFast) DeviceNet connectors, with rotary coding switches for address configuration and built-in diagnostics for network and input status as well as short-circuit indicators.
