The TURCK FDN-DN1 DeviceNet Spanner Module is a bidirectional real-time data bridge that mirrors I/O between two Device-Net networks or PLC controllers, enabling direct controller-to-controller or network-to-network communication without a higher‑level backbone in distributed automation architectures. Used in automotive assembly lines, packaging systems, conveyors, material handling, and distributed manufacturing cells, it supports up to 128 bytes of cyclic data exchange and is configurable for 125, 250, or 500 kbps.
