Turck FDN20-16XSG Device Bus Interface Module

The TURCK FDN20-16XSG DeviceNet compact bus interface and distributed I/O module provides 16 digital inputs and 16 digital outputs (universal channels) to interface field signals with a DeviceNet network, serving as a compact DeviceNet node and I/O expansion for industrial automation. It uses 24 VDC supply, supports up to 0.5 A per channel (typical), and supports fieldbus transmission rates of 125, 250, or 500 kbps. The unit features three galvanically isolated I/O supply groups, a screw-terminal 5-pin DeviceNet connection, IP20 protection, and an industrial-grade polymer housing suitable for DIN rail or panel mounting from -40°C to +70°C. Applications include distributed I/O near the machine in automotive production lines, packaging machinery, material handling, conveyor automation, and other factory automation cells requiring local digital I/O control and DeviceNet connectivity.
