Turck FDNL-S0808I-MM DeviceNet Multiport Module

The TURCK FDNL-S0808I-MM Device-Net Advanced Multiport I/O Module is a compact distributed I/O node designed to sit near the machine and provide local digital input and output handling with diagnostic visibility on Device-Net networks. It delivers 8 PNP 24 VDC digital inputs and 8 24 VDC digital outputs, with each output capable of up to 2 A (9 A maximum total module load) and a supply range of 18–30 VDC powered from Device-Net. Operating at Device-Net speeds of 125, 250, or 500 kbps and addressing via a rotary switch (0–63), it uses industrial field connectors and a Device-Net trunk connection for robust network integration. The module features channel and bus isolation (module dependent) and IP67 protection, housed in glass-fiber reinforced PA6-GF30 and mountable on a 4-hole panel or machine base. Its operating temperature range is -40°C to +70°C, and it includes channel-level diagnostics with LED status indicators for quick fault localization. Common use cases span automotive assembly lines, packaging equipment, material handling, conveyor automation, and other factory automation cells requiring decentralized I/O and real-time PLC communication.
