Turck FEN20-16DXP Multiprotocol Ethernet IO Module

The TURCK FEN20-16DXP Multiprotocol Ethernet I/O Module is a compact, IP20 DIN-rail mounted distributed I/O node designed for industrial control cabinets. It provides 16 universal digital channels that can be configured as DI or DO, with PNP inputs and 24 VDC outputs up to 1 A per channel, powered from a 24 VDC supply across three galvanically isolated I/O power groups. On Ethernet, it features two RJ45 ports with an integrated switch, supporting 10/100 Mbps and multiprotocol auto-detection for EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, or Modbus TCP networks. The module enables fast I/O expansion and modernization of legacy fieldbus systems by integrating sensors and actuators into PLC-controlled Ethernet architectures. It operates from -40°C to +70°C and is IP20 protected, intended for installation inside control panels in packaging lines, conveyor systems, OEM machinery, and general machine automation applications.
