The TURCK FGEN-IM16-4001 is a 16-channel multiprotocol Ethernet I/O module that functions as a distributed input station for Industrial Ethernet networks, bringing digital sensor inputs close to the machine over EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, or Modbus TCP. It provides 16 digital PNP inputs for 3-wire sensors, with a 24 VDC sensor supply and a galvanically isolated 24 VDC power input. The unit includes an integrated Ethernet switch and two M12 D-coded Ethernet ports with multiprotocol auto-detection, plus a 7/8" power connector for the 24 VDC supply, supporting 10/100 Mbps transmission.
