Turck FGEN-IM16-4001 Multi-Protocol IO Module

The TURCK FGEN-IM16-4001 is a compact, 16-channel distributed Ethernet I/O node designed to collect digital inputs near the machine and communicate over EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, or Modbus TCP. It provides 16 digital PNP inputs for 3-wire PNP sensors, powered by 18–30 VDC with galvanic isolation between power and bus, and supports 10/100 Mbps Ethernet via two M12 D-coded ports plus a 7/8" power connector, with an integrated Ethernet switch and multiprotocol auto-detection. The module’s rugged housing is glass-fiber reinforced PA6-GF30, rated IP67 and operable from -40°C to +70°C, and it mounts on a 4-hole machine/panel surface; it also includes per-channel input diagnostics and port-level status LEDs for easy validation in industrial environments.
