The TURCK IM1-22Ex-MT Isolating Switching Amplifier is a 2-channel device in the IM Series that provides complete galvanic isolation and intrinsically safe signal conditioning for NAMUR sensors and dry contact inputs in hazardous-area applications. It offers an isolated switching output and a universal wide-range supply, enabling safe signal transmission between hazardous and non-hazardous zones in chemical processing plants, refineries, tank farms, and other process automation environments. The unit carries intrinsically safe Ex interface approvals and a SIL 2 functional safety rating, with protection features including wire-break and short-circuit monitoring.
