Turck TBEN-L4-16DXP Multiprotocol I/O Module delivers sixteen universal digital channels, configurable as PNP inputs or 2 A outputs, in a compact industrial Ethernet node. It supports PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP, and CC-Link IE Field Basic, with two 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports (M12, 4-pin, D-coded) and an integrated Ethernet switch for streamlined distributed I/O. Powered by 24 VDC nominal (18–30 VDC) and wired via M12 signal connectors, it uses a 7/8" 4-pin male power connector and a glass fiber reinforced housing rated IP65/IP67/IP69K, operating from -40°C to +70°C. Common replacements include TBEN-L5-16DXP and TBEN-L4-16DIP, and the module is used in conveyor systems, packaging machinery, assembly lines, and material handling where multi-protocol communication helps simplify wiring and improve machine performance.
