Turck BI15-CP40-FZ3X2 S10 Inductive Proximity Sensor

The Turck BI15-CP40-FZ3X2/S10 Inductive Proximity Sensor is a shielded inductive sensor designed for non-contact detection of metal objects, housed in Turck’s Combiprox® CP40 plastic housing with a 15 mm sensing distance and active face orientation adjustable in 9 positions. The S10 variant includes a 1/2-14 NPT mounting base for industrial installations, and the unit features universal AC/DC operation suitable for a variety of automation environments. Its 2-Wire AC/DC output can be programmed as normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC), with a switching current range of 3–400 mA and a switching frequency of 20 Hz. The rectangular housing measures 114 × 40 × 40 mm, is made from reinforced plastic (PBT-GF30-V0), and provides IP67 protection with an operating temperature of -25°C to +70°C. LED indicators provide high-luminance corner visibility, aiding quick status checks, while a terminal chamber electrical connection and flush/mountable design support flexible installation in conveyor systems, packaging equipment, transfer lines, and other PLC-controlled automated machines requiring reliable metal object sensing and machine-position feedback.
