Turck MS1-22EX0-R Multi Safe Switching Amplifier

The TURCK MS1-22EX0-R Multi Safe Switching Amplifier delivers intrinsically safe signal isolation for NAMUR sensors and field devices in hazardous areas, enabling safe, relay-driven signaling between hazardous and non-hazardous zones. It provides 2-channel operation with two SPDT relay outputs, each selectable NO or NC, and each capable of switching up to 250 VAC or 60 VDC, up to 4 A per output, for a per-output rating of up to 1000 VA / 60 W. Input is NAMUR-friendly: NAMUR sensors, dry contacts, or potential-free contacts per EN 60947-5-6, with 8 VDC nominal input, 8 mA nominal, switching threshold 1.55 mA and 0.2 mA hysteresis; the device features galvanic isolation among input, output, and supply circuits. Power is via a universal supply 20-250 VAC or 20-125 VDC (≤3 W), with frequency 40-70 Hz; mounting on DIN rail or panel, IP20, and operating -25°C to +60°C for industrial hazardous-area and process-control environments. It bears ATEX hazardous-area approvals (II (1) GD, I (M1), [Ex ia] IIC), 2.5 kVrms test voltage, and is commonly used in refinery process controls, chemical processing, burner management, tank monitoring, and PLC/DCS control panels requiring intrinsically safe NAMUR interfacing and hazardous-area relay switching; common replacements include IM1-22EX-R, MK13-22EX0-R, and MS13-22EX0-T.
