Turck MS14-33EX0-R Amplifier Relay
Turck MS14-33EX0-R Amplifier Relay
Description:
The TURCK MS14-33EX0-R Amplifier Relay is a 3-channel switching amplifier designed for intrinsically safe signal isolation between hazardous-area NAMUR sensors and field devices and safe-area control systems. It accepts NAMUR sensors, dry contacts, and potential-free inputs with an 8 VDC nominal input voltage and 8 mA nominal input current, featuring a 1.55 mA switching threshold and 0.2 mA hysteresis, and provides three relays, each with one normally open contact, capable of switching up to 250 VAC or 60 VDC at as much as 4 A per output (up to 1000 VA / 60 W per output) and a switching frequency up to 10 Hz. The unit operates on a universal supply of 20-250 VAC or 20-125 VDC, with 40-70 Hz frequency and ≤3 W power consumption, and provides galvanic isolation between input, output, and supply circuits. Hazardous-area approval includes ATEX II (1) GD, I (M1), [Ex ia] IIC. Mounting options are DIN rail or panel mounting, and the enclosure carries IP20 protection with an operating temperature range of -25°C to +60°C. Commonly used in refinery process controls, chemical processing systems, burner management, tank monitoring installations, mining operations, and PLC/DCS control panels that require intrinsically safe NAMUR interfacing and hazardous-area relay switching.
