Turck NI10-G18-Y0 NAMUR Output Proximity Sensor

The TURCK NI10-G18-Y0 NAMUR Output Proximity Sensor is designed for intrinsically safe automation and hazardous-area control, delivering non-contact detection of metallic objects with a NAMUR output signal. With an M18 × 1 threaded barrel and chrome-plated brass housing, it provides a 10 mm nominal sensing distance and a NAMUR output per EN 60947-5-6. It operates from a nominal 8.2 VDC supply, switches at up to 0.5 kHz, and uses an integral 2 m cable, in a non-flush (non-embeddable) installation suitable for industrial environments. The sensor offers IP67 protection and operates from -25°C to +70°C, making it well-suited for hazardous-area metal detection and industrial position sensing in chemical processing equipment, oil and gas facilities, refinery operations, tank farms, pharmaceutical production equipment, conveyor systems, and packaging machinery where reliable sensing and intrinsic safety are required.
