Turck NI12U-M18E-AP6X Inductive Proximity Sensor

The TURCK NI12U-M18E-AP6X Inductive Proximity Sensor uses Uprox Factor 1 technology to provide non-contact detection of metallic objects with equal sensing distances across steel, aluminum, brass, and stainless targets in industrial automation. It comes in an extended M18 × 1 threaded housing with a 12 mm nominal sensing distance and offers a PNP transistor output in normally open (NO) configuration, 10–30 VDC supply, and up to 200 mA switching current at a 1 kHz switching frequency; connection is available as either cable or connector version depending on configuration. The chrome-plated brass housing carries IP68 protection and supports non-flush mounting across -30°C to +85°C, making it well suited for conveyor systems, packaging machinery, assembly equipment, robotic cells, and other material handling applications that require reliable metal detection.
