Turck Ni20U-S30-AP6X Inductive Proximity Sensor

The TURCK NI20U-S30-AP6X Inductive Sensor detects metal objects without contact using UPROX Factor 1 technology in a 30 mm smooth-barrel housing. With a 20 mm nominal sensing distance and a PNP normally open output, it is designed for industrial automation applications such as conveyors, machine tools, packaging lines, pallet handling, and automated manufacturing where reliable metal detection provides accurate position feedback. UPROX delivers equal sensing distances for steel, aluminum, brass, and stainless steel targets and is resistant to magnetic fields and harsh environments; additional features like pre-damping protection and an extended sensing distance further improve stability in challenging setups. Electrical specs include 10-30 VDC supply, up to 200 mA load, and a 1 kHz switching frequency, feeding a 2 m integral cable connection for straightforward installation. The sensor is built in a 30 mm cylindrical housing made from PBT-GF30 reinforced plastic, with IP68 sealing and a -30°C to +85°C operating range, and a single LED indicator to show switching state.
