From TURCK, the NI5-EM12WD-AP6X Inductive Proximity Sensor delivers dependable, non-contact metal-target detection in washdown environments, making it ideal for food processing equipment, packaging machinery, conveyors, bottling lines, and other sanitary applications. This 5 mm sensing device uses inductive sensing with a ferrite-core construction and a stainless-steel M12 housing, configured for non-flush mounting, and it provides a 3-wire PNP normally-open output powered by 10–30 VDC. Designed for metal target detection in food processing and harsh industrial environments, the sensor carries IP68/IP69K protection, operates from -25°C to +85°C, supports up to 1500 Hz switching frequency, and features washdown-ready, chemical-resistant construction plus short-circuit protection. Electrical connections are via a 4-pin connector or a cable version, model dependent.
