Turck NI8-M18-AP6X-H1141 Inductive Proximity Sensor

The TURCK NI8-M18-AP6X-H1141 inductive proximity sensor is a non-embeddable device in a chrome-plated brass M18 × 1 threaded housing, designed for non-contact metal detection in industrial automation and machine control. With an 8 mm nominal sensing distance, it detects metal targets on conveyors, packaging lines, assembly cells, robotic workstations, and material-handling systems, enabling reliable presence and position sensing while reducing mechanical wear. It provides a PNP normally open output, operates from 10–30 VDC with a 200 mA maximum switching current, and supports switching up to 1 kHz, making it suitable for fast automation cycles. The sensor is IP67-rated, non-flush mounting, features a 4-pin M12 Eurofast connector, and operates from -25°C to +70°C, with a yellow status LED to indicate switching activity.
