Turck NI8-M18-VP4X-H1141 Inductive Proximity Sensor

The TURCK NI8-M18-VP4X-H1141 Inductive Proximity Sensor is a compact M18 device used for non-contact detection of metallic targets in industrial automation. With an 8 mm rated sensing distance, four-wire PNP complementary (NO/NC) output, and a wide 10–65 V DC supply, it integrates easily with standard controls and PLCs. The non-flush mounting design provides increased sensing distance and installation flexibility in harsh environments, while the chrome-plated brass housing (M18 x 1 threaded barrel) offers robust durability. The sensor uses TURCK's inductive technology with increased switching distance and is connected via an M12 x 1 4-pin male connector, supporting up to 500 Hz switching frequency and a maximum load current of 200 mA. It carries IP67 protection for dust and water ingress resistance and operates from -25°C to +70°C, with a yellow switching status LED to indicate active state. Built-in protections include short-circuit and reverse polarity protection, making it suitable for position monitoring, conveyor control, packaging equipment, robotic cells, and automated assembly lines where reliable metal-target detection is required.
