Turck TBEN-L4-16DIP Ethernet Multi-Protocol I/O Module is a compact, multi-protocol I/O device that connects sixteen digital PNP inputs to PLCs and distributed control networks in industrial Ethernet automation. It supports PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP, and CC-Link IE Field Basic, enabling flexible wiring and distributed I/O across conveyor systems, packaging machinery, assembly lines, and material handling equipment. The module delivers 16 digital PNP input channels and uses two M12 4-pin D-coded Ethernet connectors, with an integrated Ethernet switch supporting 10/100 Mbps. The supply voltage connects via a 7/8" 4-Pin Male connector. Built in a glass fiber reinforced housing, it carries IP65, IP67, and IP69K protection and operates from -40°C to +70°C. As a device type, it functions as a Compact Station, a Field Logic Controller (ARGEE), and an I/O Module, making it suitable for decentralized I/O in distributed automation architectures.
