Turck U0978-73 Minifast Double-Ended Cordset

The Turck RSM RKM 461-20M U0978-73 is a double-ended 4-pin Mini Fast extension cordset with a 20 m yellow PVC jacket, designed for power and signal transmission between PLCs, sensors, actuators, valve manifolds, and other industrial field devices. It uses straight 7/8"-16 UN male and female Mini Fast connectors, with 4 × 16 AWG (1.5 mm²) bare copper conductors, rated up to 600 V and 10 A, and a 9.14 mm cable diameter. The assembly features brass CuZn contact materials with gold plating, TPU connector bodies in yellow, nickel-plated brass coupling nuts, and a flexible sun- and oil-resistant PVC jacket; it is rated IP67, IP68, IP69, IP69K when mated, and supports >100 mating cycles. Operating temperatures range static -40 °C to +105 °C, flexible +5 °C to +105 °C, installation -10 °C to +105 °C, with minimum bending radii static ≥5× and dynamic ≥10× cable diameter. Approved to UL 2238, CSA C22.2 No. 182.3, CE, UKCA, and RoHS, the cordset is commonly used in PLC control panels, conveyor systems, machine tools, distributed I/O stations, robotics, packaging machinery, material handling, and other automation equipment where a double-ended Mini Fast extension is required; maintenance teams, OEM machine builders, and system integrators rely on it for equipment replacement, retrofits, expansion, and new installations.
