Turck U5457-8 is a double-ended DeviceNet extension cordset that connects a straight 7/8"-16 UN 5-pin Mini Fast male to a straight M12 x 1 A-coded 5-pin Eurofast female, using a shielded 1.5 m gray PVC tray cable for reliable DeviceNet and CANopen networking in industrial automation. It carries 4 conductors (2 power + 2 data) on 22 AWG conductors, with 250 V rated voltage and 4 A rated current, and uses brass CuZn gold-plated contacts with brass CuZn nickel-plated coupling nuts in a TPU connector body. The assembly is IP67 when mated and rated for -40 °C to +80 °C operation, with a mechanical life >100 mating cycles. It’s UL PLTC approved and carries CSA, CE, and RoHS approvals.
