Watson McDaniel WD700S-14-SW Turbo Disc Steam Trap is a repairable thermodynamic turbo disc steam trap designed for high-pressure steam systems, automatically discharging condensate while minimizing the loss of live steam. The 3/4 in. socket weld (SW) connection features an integral strainer and a quick-change capsule design for in-line maintenance, reducing downtime during servicing. Constructed from chrome-moly alloy steel (ASTM A217 WC9), it has a maximum operating pressure (PMO) of 600 PSIG and a maximum allowable pressure (PMA) of 600 PSIG, and operates up to 800°F (427°C), making it suitable for both saturated and superheated steam. This trap is commonly installed on steam mains, steam supply lines, and industrial tracing installations in power generation facilities, refineries, chemical processing plants, food and beverage manufacturing, and other industrial steam distribution systems.
