Description:

The Watts Regulator U5B Pressure Reducing Valve is a high-performance water pressure reducing valve designed to lower incoming municipal water pressure to a safe and controlled downstream pressure. Constructed with a durable bronze body, integral stainless steel strainer, replaceable seat module, and thermal expansion bypass, the U5B helps protect plumbing fixtures, piping systems, appliances, and process equipment from excessive pressure while reducing water consumption. The valve is suitable for residential, commercial, and industrial water distribution systems and is designed for easy in-line maintenance without removal from the piping system. The U5B series has been discontinued and replaced by the LFU5B-Z3 lead-free series.
