Worcester Controls B34R Pneumatic Valve Actuator

The Worcester Controls B34R Series 34 Pneumatic Valve Actuator is a compact 90-degree pneumatic rotary actuator designed for quarter-turn valve automation in chemical processing, water treatment, and manufacturing facilities. It operates on clean lubricated compressed air at 60–125 psi (maximum 125 psi) and provides approximately 800–1000 in-lbs of output torque, depending on configuration and pressure, for direct valve mounting with a standard direct valve mounting bracket assembly on ball valves and other quarter-turn process valves. The actuator uses a modified Scotch Yoke mechanism to deliver precise travel, with a corrosion-resistant housing and stainless steel hardware, and offers tailored torque output, adjustable travel, and a 0°F to 160°F operating temperature range in a compact package weighing about 4.3–4.5 lb. On configured models, electrical/conduit connections are 1/2 inch NPT, while air connections are 1/4 inch NPT; common uses include valve automation, retrofit, and replacement maintenance for automated valve positioning and process flow isolation in chemical processing, water treatment, steam systems, and industrial manufacturing lines.
