Yamaha 55R-2164A-02-00 Motorcycle Backrest Sissy Bar

The Yamaha 55R-2164A-02-00 backrest sissy bar is a chrome-plated steel, frame-mounted rear passenger support designed to mount a backrest pad and provide a secure grab point. Compatible with Yamaha Virago XV700, XV750, and similar cruiser models, it mounts to the rear frame using OEM bracket points to integrate with seat and grab-bar systems. The chrome finish offers weather resistance, and the unit enhances passenger safety and seating stability in cruiser and touring configurations, while being used for backrest replacement, passenger comfort upgrades, and rear seating restoration. Common replacements include Yamaha 42X-2164A-00-00, 1AA-2164A-00-00, and 4NK-2164A-00-00; as an OEM part, it is often available NOS or used.
