The Yamaha ERCX-BO Robot Servo Controller Module is a single-axis robot controller used in Yamaha industrial automation and motion control systems, commonly installed in Yamaha FLIP-X linear robots and automation cells for pick-and-place, transfer, and positioning tasks. It runs on a 32-bit RISC processor for high-speed servo control and provides approximately 16 inputs and 13 outputs, with a 24V DC input and panel- or enclosure-mounted installation to support reliable motion control and external I/O management. The controller uses Yamaha robot language with a BASIC-like structure, offers absolute positioning (no homing required) and multitask operation, and communicates with PCs and PLCs via I/O and ports, making it compatible with Yamaha FLIP-X and other single-axis robotic configurations; it is commonly used as a replacement option alongside DRCX, SRCX, or ERCD controllers.
