Yamaha YZF-R1-STATOR-REG-RECT Stator Regulator Rectifier

The Yamaha YZF-R1 Stator Regulator Rectifier assembly uses a permanent-magnet, three-phase stator to generate AC from engine rotation and a solid-state regulator/rectifier to convert it to 12–14.5V DC and regulate the output.

The stator employs copper windings in an oil-cooled assembly, while the regulator is housed in an aluminum heat-sink housing and an included gasket provides oil sealing for the stator mounting.

Engine-case mounting for the stator and frame-mounted regulator supports use in motorcycles and small engines for ignition, lighting, ECU operation, and fuel injection across varying RPMs; common replacements include Rick’s Motorsport Electrics stator and regulator rectifier kit, Shindengen MOSFET regulator rectifier with OEM stator, and OEM charging-system kits.
