The Yaskawa CIMR-M5A20180-XXXA Variable Frequency Drive is a 22.9 kW (21.8 kVA) panel-mounted AC spindle inverter designed for CNC spindle control, delivering vector-controlled PWM performance with precise speed variation (≤0.2%) and 120% overload capability for 60 seconds. It accepts DC input 270–325 V and provides 3-phase AC output 0–230 V up to 1000 Hz, enabling high-speed machining with precise speed and torque regulation and regenerative braking for rapid spindle deceleration and quicker tool changes.
