Yaskawa Electric Corporation PG-B2 Speed Controller Card

The Yaskawa PG-B2 Speed Controller Card is an encoder feedback / speed controller card for Yaskawa VFDs that support option cards, providing closed-loop motor speed control through encoder signal processing. It accepts Incremental Encoder Input signals (A/B/Z phase) on a dedicated drive communication bus, with voltage supplied by the drive and mounting in an internal drive option slot for 0 to 50°C operation. Used in conveyors, elevators, machine tools, and automated production equipment requiring precise speed regulation, it improves motor speed feedback and control for material handling, hoisting, packaging machinery, and precision manufacturing processes. Compatible with Yaskawa VFDs that support option cards (G5, F7, etc.); common replacements include Yaskawa PG-X2, PG-W2, and PG-B3.
