The Yaskawa Electric VS Coupling 75 HP eddy-current drive is a non-contact, magnetically coupled torque-transfer system that lets you adjust output speed and torque of industrial motors without direct mechanical wear. Rated at 75 HP with a speed range of 165–1650 RPM, it operates from 440V AC, 3-phase and uses a water-cooled design with a 75 mm shaft diameter, mounted as a base-installed industrial drive assembly. This legacy eddy-current variable speed drive transfers torque magnetically between motor and load, reducing mechanical shock and wear while supporting applications in pumps, conveyors, fans, crushers, and large process equipment.
