Zinsco QCAL100 is a 2-pole, 100-amp molded-case circuit breaker from the QC series (type QCAL), designed for 120/240-volt AC circuits and plug-in mounting in compatible panels. Rated for 10,000 amperes of short-circuit current at 240V and ambient operation up to 40°C, it provides thermal-magnetic protection for 240V branch circuits. As a widely used replacement, the QCAL100 is stocked as UBIZ2100-1 by Connecticut Electric and is compatible with Zinsco QC-series panels, making it suitable for protecting and controlling 240V loads in residential or light commercial installations.
